Giaco Whatever is a new subscription for me and i feel like I have been missing out because his videos are so good. I really love makers/content creators that put just is much time into their videography as they do the project. This video is his thirtieth video in thirty does which is just incredible consider the level of production and project design involved in each video.
Thanks for the great video content Giaco Whatever!
I gotta start off by saying I love the Cactus! workshop channel, its full of quality projects and sets the standard for videography. In this video he designs and creates reversible bench dogs that can be easily raised up for when being used or simply turn them 180 degrees and they will drop flush with the table. He also makes some handy collars to go around the dogs to allow for a wedge style clamp. I also like how he incorporates a little metal working into the project, a mini metal lathe is on my short list for new shop tools;)
make sure you subscribe to him on youtube and check him out on instagram!!!
If you’ve been following me at all you know I’m a sucker for a good shop project and this video from Paul doesn’t disappoint. This drill press table was actually designed by Paul’s wife Natalie in Fusion360. I think what I like about it so much is the clean, straight to point design, no added clutter. There are really only a couple a features I feel are necessary in a drill press table.
easy way to take on and off
replaceable insert plate
fence with stop block
clamp option for small material
I feel Natalie did an excellent job in incorporating these core features. If you want to do a little bit of reading on this project here is the link to there website. Enjoy:)
